Alessandro Sannini is a private equity investor and advisor with extensive experience in growth finance. An early pioneer of Italy’s minibond market, he has helped promote access to capital markets for small and medium-sized enterprises, encouraging the use of corporate bonds and a stronger financial culture focused on business development. His work in this field includes editorial and educational initiatives associated with minibond.eu.
He has worked in international environments subject to supervision by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom and FINMA in Switzerland. His approach combines analytical rigour, a focus on governance and an industrial perspective on investment: capital as a means to strengthen businesses, support their growth and enhance their international competitiveness.
In recent years, he has extended his work to the space economy, which he sees as a strategic driver of Italian and European industrial development. His analysis explores the relationship between finance, technology and industrial policy, with particular attention to SMEs, aerospace supply chains, investment and consolidation. He is a member of Federmanager’s National Space Economy Commission and contributes as a columnist to Milano Finanza, Agenda Digitale, Formiche, Airpress, Space Economy 360, Affaritaliani.it and CorCom.
He is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Florence for the 2026/2027 academic year. He has also been a guest speaker at the universities of Trento, Bologna and Venice, contributing to financial education and discussion of the economics of innovation.
His advisory experience includes Fondazione Edoardo Amaldi, RIR/AIR Veneto, Twin Advisors and Novaeka, as well as more than 50 Italian and international companies across manufacturing, technology, finance and aerospace.
